Company Introduction:
T&T Supermarket Inc. was founded in 1993 with two stores in BC.

Since then, it has expanded rapidly and is now Canada's largest Asian supermarket chain with 31 stores across the country: 13 in BC, 7 in Alberta, 10 in Ontario, and 1 in Quebec.

The Company's continuous expansion is going to bring more new stores in the next couple of years.

The Role:

Reporting to the Meat Department Head (or his/her delegates), the Meat Associate is responsible to provide good service to our customers by fulfilling their requests, maintain inventory and workplace cleanliness.

Major Responsibilities: Assist customers in selecting meat products and provide recommendations to them, if necessary
Maintain inventory and product quality; ensure full display of various meat products
Cut, pack and label various meat products and display them in the display coolers
Label frozen meat products and put into the display cooler
Maintain workplace cleanliness, wash and ensure relevant work tools are clean and wellkept
Keep warehouse, display and walkin coolers clean and tidy
Follow procedures to process expired products and manage shrinkage
Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior
Knowledge, Skills and

Ability Requirements:
Accountable, pleasant and is able to take initiative

Friendly and have a passion to serve our customers
Flexible to work in shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evening hours and statutory holidays
Able to communicate in English and Chinese (Cantonese &/or Mandarin) an asset
Able to stand a long time, dealing hands on with products and lifting of products of 50 pounds on a regular basis
A good team player
Not allergic to handle meat products
Knowledge of basic work safety
Relevant experience in handling meat products is preferred
Completed secondary education an asset
