BRAKE PRESS SET-UP OPERATOR

We are a leading exhaust fan manufacturer currently looking for BRAKE
PRESS SET-UP OPERATOR in our sheet metal fabrication plant facilities located in Toronto Ontario.

Press Machine operator in a Manufacturing plant. You will report to the plant supervisor

Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

Performs daily machine check and Startup of machine or Equipment
Retrieves or receives raw materials for daily production from stock.
Setup proper dies in machine as required.
Programs computer attachment for required machine production.
Follow Press Brake process standard operating procedure
Bend aluminum sheet to create custom panels from drawings
Use inspection devices to inspect parts, according to print and product inspection plan
Make small, mathematically calculated, angle corrections and Orienting the part correctly
Reading the print fully to understand tolerances, geometry, material thickness, and special instructions
Directs finished work in

- progress product to Shipping Area or to stock in warehouse

Wearing proper protective equipment, as directed by equipment or process;
Understand safety requirements in every area, and comply

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent
35 years Experience

Key Competencies

Ability to read measuring tools
Basic understanding of geometry concepts and able to calculate negative and positive adjustments
Ability to manage time and prioritize work effectively
