The Opportunity
CBRE is actively seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk in Montreal. The Clerk will be processing deliveries, maintaining files and database, and working closely with the Building Coordinator.


Responsibilities:


Manage the delivery dock and mailroom and be available during operating hours to open the dock for deliveries and pickups.

Maintain proper functioning of communication rooms by keeping necessary office supplies available and ensuring printers are operational.


Responsible for managing recyclable materials, recording the weight of recyclable materials, and sending the data at the end of the month.

Perform monthly inspections of the first aid kit and report any missing or expired items.

May handle and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer.

May answer phone calls, direct them, and take messages

May open, sort, and route incoming mail, respond to correspondence, and prepare outgoing mail.

May compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities.

May review files, records, and other documents to gather information for responding to requests.

Other duties may be assigned.


What we require
1+ years of experience of providing shipping or administrative support, preferred

High School diploma or GED

Ability to take initiative on workload with mínimal supervision

Strong verbal and written communication skills in either French or English

Basic computer skills
