Department Overview
TD Cards (including MBNA) is the largest dual issuer of Visa and MasterCard products and holds the position of #1 market share in Canada.
TD Consumer and Business credit cards are distributed nationally, leveraging our retail distribution network, direct response channels and key co-brand partnerships including Aeroplan and Amazon.
Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, the Relationship Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management of TD's strategic partnership with Canada Post and will regularly interact with various internal partners to support advancing both TD's and Canada Post's mutual strategic goals.
Job Requirements
This exciting new role is a great opportunity to learn and make an impact with a strategic partner of TD, and will have the following high-level accountabilities:
- Act as the primary day-to-day partner-facing contact for the Canada Post partnership, including establishing & delivering against interaction models/governance, contract management, joint business planning & remediating issues.
- Continually look to enhance the overall relationship by aligning organizational objectives between both organizations to drive mutuallybeneficial outcomes for the success of the program.
- Play a key role in negotiating & aligning expanded business terms between Canada Post and internal TD product/journey/platform teams for new product launches and/or enhancements.
- Act as a centralized point of contact between Canada Post & internal TD product/journey/platform teams to enable the joint delivery of new products and/or enhancements.
- Ensure contractual requirements are met by both parties through effective program governance and oversight, including all regulatory, compliance, SLA & internal standards are being achieved.
- Regularly liaise with TD product, marketing, digital & assisted channel teams to review product/program performance & facilitate ongoing partner reviews to develop joint plans to optimize business results.
- Keep abreast to partner/customer feedback & share with relevant stakeholders (ex. product, marketing, digital, assisted channels, customer experience risk, sustainability/corporate citizenship, CAPA etc) to influence improving the customer experience to drive business results.
- Actively participate in ongoing coaching, CDP & teambased activities (ex. Pulse, townhalls etc) to enhance the colleague experience.
Additional Information
- University education preferred with 8+ years of relevant work experience.
- Proven relationship management and negotiation skills with the ability to impact and influence key stakeholders in a highlymatrixed operating environment.
- Ability to build effective relationships across teams and functions with a strong sense of organizational awareness.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form, including developing and delivering presentations to various audiences (including senior executives).
- Understanding of the banking industry & loyalty/partnerships/whitelabel space an asset.
- Previous product management and/or vendor management experience also an asset.
