Description:

The Program Coordinator in an integral part of the Elevate Black Business Program, funded by Fed Dev. The Program Coordinator reports directly to the Office Manager and works as member of the Operational Team.

This position participates with the Program Manager and the Elevate Black Business Program Project Management Team to ensure participants are assigned to their appropriate Business Advisor and/or course facilitators.


The Role:


The Program Coordinator will provide customer service, administrative support, and program coordination services to support the Elevate Black Business Program delivery to participants.

Your top priority is to build strong and trusting relationships with our internal Business Advisors, participants, and customers.


Administrative & Professional Support:


  • Provide efficient Elevate Black Business Program (EBBP) Participants with exceptional customer service along with general administrative assistance and support
  • Maintains integrity of the EBBP Participants database by timely keying of accurate and relevant information
  • Handle inquiries and maintain daily contact with EBBP Participants, EBBP Members, Staff, Volunteers and Corporate partners.
  • Escalate any issues that may arise during the project to Program Manager, Office Manager or Executive Director
  • Communicate plans, actions, risks, and issues with key stakeholders
  • In collaboration with the project lead, monitor and report on the project's progress
  • Coordinating and preparation of reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions.
  • Book external meetings and appointments for Business Advisors/Mentors as required
  • Create and present reports for senior managers.
  • Assist with market research activities and data entry of information into CRM
  • Provide strong client support and coordination for EBBP participants and Members
  • Perform analysis from questionnaires to understand customer needs
  • Contribute ideas for improving marketing standards and processes
  • Ensure adherence to relevant company procedures and policies
  • Complete other duties at the discretion of management

Qualifications:


  • Previous working experience as an Administrative Assistant and Customer Service
  • Minimum two years experience in a nonprofit organization or other social sectors.
  • University or College degree and a minimum of two years of project/program coordination experience
  • Post-Secondary in Office Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a similar relevant field
  • Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Handson experience with marketing software, office management computer programs (HubSpot CRM)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail, creative thinker with an analytical mind.
  • Welldeveloped communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive, cando attitude with a strong success orientation.
  • Ability to interact professionally with multiple stakeholders and partners.

- $60,000 Annually.
