With approximately 470 staff, Peninsula Co-op operates 17 retail fuel and convenience centres, 9 liquor stores, 3 commercial card lock and home heating outlets, and a full-sized food store. The Co-op generates approximately $300 million in annual sales and donates over $500k each year to local charities. The Co-op remains locally owned and proudly shares profits with its 116,000 member-owners, community, and staff.


WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR


You are an individual that enjoys working effectively as part of that team; you have initiative, energy and enjoy working at a fast pace; you have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for most of your shift; appropriate computer skills and technical knowledge; you are reliable, accountable and a person of integrity; you look out for your own safety and the safety of others

We are looking for an enthusiastic customer service professional who:


  • Always look for ways to be helpful and go out of their way to assist others; consistently polite
  • Good with numbers and can handle cash and other basic numerical calculations quickly and accurately.
  • Look out for their safety and the safety of others.
  • Values integrity and honesty; someone to admire and emulate.

WHAT WE OFFER
In addition to a starting wage between $ $20.
