    This exciting change management role demands creativity, tenacity, technical and analytical expertise.

    The incumbent will apply their expertise in identifying, evaluating and launching process improvements that optimize our manufacturing operations throughout our vertically integrated environment.

    Using creative and proven strategies they will design and deliver project plans, SOP's and establish key metrics that clearly demonstrate continuous improvements.

    Liaise with various departments in a manufacturing setting to receive required information. Superior project management, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.

    • Ability to multi-task, work within a fast-paced environment, and prioritize conflicting demands Designs, develops and evaluates integrated systems for managing production processes.
    • Studies key areas of production when designing, testing and analyzing performance including human work factors, quality control systems, inventory management, logistics, production, and costs.
    • Applies lean manufacturing principles throughout the assembly, and manufacturing operations.
    • Review production schedules, processes, specifications, and related information.
    • Designing production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
    • Designing control systems to minimize costs and production issues.
    • Developing design and production standards in cooperation with management and user personnel.
    • Preparing material and equipment lists, purchase orders, cost analyses, and estimated production costs.
    • Designing the layout of facilities and determining personnel requirements.
    • Training staff for new processes and providing instructions and manuals.
    • Managing process documentation and preparing production reports.
    • Ensure compliance with company policy, safety standards & quality standards
    • Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for new processes
    • Establishes and monitors maintenance schedules for all manufacturing equipment.
    • Supports troubleshooting of the manufacturing operations processes and equipment.
    • Minimizes downtime through timely and reliable engineering analysis.
    • Lead projects that streamline processes, improve productivity and eliminate waste.
    • Good knowledge or ERP software, BOM structures, routings, Engineering Change process and non-conforming process
    • Intermediate to advance level of skill in SolidWorks and AutoCad

    University degree in related field:
    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing environment preferably in sheet metal and/or welding
    • Expert working knowledge of Lean Management and Quality Management Systems
    • Proficiency with MS Office applications; Excel and Word are essential.
    • Superior project management, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
    • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams
    • Participate in company cross-training program (as trainee and trainer)
    • Standardizing, implementing and creating new guidelines, policies and best practices within the production operation
    • Adheres to all company policies & procedures, health and safety policies & procedures, regulations & standards, quality standards and good housekeeping 5S practices
    • Commit to and participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods
    • Will demonstrate, promote and exemplify the company's core values in safety, people, quality and growth
