THE ROLE
Steeped in a rich military heritage and tradition, messes have been used by the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) throughout Canada's history to foster morale and promote military values including camaraderie and unit cohesiveness.
Messes give members a strong sense of commitment to the ideas, objectives and the basic responsibility expected of them within the CAF and set the standard for military service within Canada.
CFMWS provides support to all CAF messes.Specifically, PSP Hospitality Services provides expertise on operational and management practices and assists mess managers in providing quality mess hospitality services.
As a Server, you provide an excellent customer experience for our mess operations.During big events to every day moments, you will build a rapport with the military community and get to experience various military traditions.
The server will greet customers, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages.You will operate a Point of Sales system, take orders, relay them to the kitchen and bar staff and serve food and beverages.
Full availability is required as shifts range from mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
This is a role where everyone works as one team to provide the best customer experience for our members and contributes in creating a positive workplace.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses**High school diploma AND some food service or cash experience.
OR
An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered.
