The Management Services Division provides valued and trusted corporate services, leadership, and advice to the ministries of Jobs, Economic Development and Recovery (JEDI) and Ministry of Labour.

This includes corporate planning, financial services, information systems, facilities management, and strategic human resources.


The Executive Coordinator's role is to manage and support the overall coordination and management/process of the Assistant Deputy Minister/Executive Financial Officer's office ensuring the ADM/EFO is well organized, adequately briefed and strategically aligned with internal and external stakeholders.


Job Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • Completion of relevant postsecondary training or equivalent plus a minimum of
    three (3) years related experience**; OR
  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent (GED) plus a minimum of
    five (5) years related experience**:
  • An equivalent amount of education and related experience may be considered.

Related experience must include:


  • Experience providing coordination and oversight, in a senior administrative role, in an executive office.
  • Experience effectively managing workloads, including documents coordination in a fastpaced, high volume and tight deadline work environment.
  • Experience developing and maintaining productive and positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working with CLIFF, eApprovals, Corporate Accounting Service (CAS), Time and Leave or other electronic office systems.
  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience within a corporate financial environment OR Experience in corporate financial, accounting and reporting. OR Experience with corporate policies, including communicating and carrying out financial procedures.
  • Experience interpreting and communicating policies and/or communicating financial procedures.
  • Experience in an HR environment (which may include providing letters and/or corporate HR support) OR experience providing high level administrative support including preparing and administering letters.
