Carecor is looking for dedicated and compassionate patient observer to join our amazing team working in hospitals serving the Ottawa and surrounding area.
Are you a caring person who enjoys keeping others company? Our patient observers are responsible to observe and assist with the care of one or two patients through simple comfort measures such as keeping the patient company or watching how they are doing.

Job Qualifications
Our "exemplary standing" with Accreditation Canada is held to the highest regard and is a testament to the fact that we uphold the same hiring standards and patient care delivery as the facilities in which we serve.
- Must have grade 12 high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to communicate (written and verbally) in both English and French
- Current Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification
- Current CPR Level A
- Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
- Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (MMRV)
- Proof of negative TB skin test within the past year or negative chest xray within the past 5 years
- Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
Please note that based on recent government mandates and directives, healthcare workers are now required to provide proof of full COVID-19 Vaccination.
