Position Description:


The CHSS Center for Research and Quality is seeking to hire a Clinical Research Project Assistant to work at The Hospital for Sick Children in the Labatt Family Heart Centre.

The Clinical Research Project Assistant works closely with the clinical research coordinators, manager and investigators to assist in study operations.


Here's What You'll Get To Do:

  • Prepare study case report forms
  • Conduct participant survey followup
  • Ensure completeness of records received from sites
  • Deidentification of records
  • Check data for accuracy and completeness, data entry, data cleaning
  • Contact study participants to followup on study requirements
  • Assist in health records and medical image reviews
  • Assist in organizing meetings
  • Administrative tasks related to research program
  • Other duties as required

Here's What You'll Need:


  • Bachelor's degree in science or healthrelated discipline
  • Previous research experience is an asset
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, facilitation, organizational, time management and problem solving skills
  • Ability to function independently yet collaboratively within a team
  • Selfmotivated and the ability to take initiative
  • Working knowledge of REDCap, Access, and Epic is an asset

Employment Type; 12 month full time contract
