About CBI Health's Community Rehabilitation Services
Our Community Rehabilitation Services team in Ontario focuses on treating clients dealing with mental stress injuries and motor vehicle accidents, aiming for a return to pre-accident function.
In our Traumatic Psychological Injury program, Occupational Therapists work with clients, like first responders, who have faced trauma at work. They get to conduct in-vivo exposure therapy, behavioral activation, facilitate trauma processing, coping, and return to function. Our evidence-based approach includes innovative interventions such as virtual reality for leading mental health outcomes. This program offers a unique opportunity to become an expert in this growing niche within the OT profession.
Occupational Therapists in our Complex Auto program assess and treat clients with various physical, cognitive, and psychosocial impairments related to motor vehicle accidents. This program enables providing comprehensive care and guiding clients through their recovery.
