Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensuring exceptional customer service is provided in a courteous manner to maintain our reputation for friendly, effective, and personalized experience.
To assist customers with any questions and maintain good customer relations;
To prepare, fill, rotate and maintain product displays, ensuring the quality of product meets Company standards;
To be responsible for organizing and setting up the department;
To assist in the ordering of all salad bar department supplies for efficient operations;
To follow the set guidelines of the Salad Bar Program;
To maintain the sanitation standards and safety procedures in accordance with Company policy;
To assist in the directing and supervising of staff to secure efficient and courteous customer service;
To assist in training new part time staff;
To assume responsibility for managing the department in the absence of the manager;
Other duties, as required.
Exceptional customer service skills
12 years' previous experience in a salad bar retail environment;
Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including days, evenings, weekends and night shifts;
Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills;
Previous experience in a produce department a definite asset;
Previous experience in creative and unique merchandising would be considered an asset;
Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment.
