Commissionaires South Saskatchewan has been awarded the security contract with the Regina Public Library.

We are seeking guards for a variety of eight to 10 hour shifts 7 days a week covering the hours of :30

Must have or be able to be licensed as a Security Guard with Ministry of Corrections and Policing

Must represent the Corps in a professional manner with a high standard of dress and deportment while in uniform


Must be able to do numerous foot patrols that include inside and outside patrols and climbing up to 3 flights of stairs during the shift as well as monitor security cameras.


Must have proven excellent customer service with the ability to deal with the public in a firm but compassionate and cordial manner, including those individuals who are experiencing personal difficulties such as substance dependency and mental health issues.

Must have or willing to qualify in following courses within one month of start date:

  • Standard first Aid and CPR C
  • Naloxone training


  • WHMIS 201

  • Use of Force
  • Dealing with Difficult People
  • Diversity and Mental Health
  • Radio Communications.
