NETSPECTRUM Internet Solutions is currently looking to add a Billing Clerk to our growing team in our Sudbury Head Office.

NETSPECTRUM is a local internet provider, providing a mix of Rural Wireless, DSL, Fibre and Cable Internet to business and residential customers in Northern Ontario.

The Billing Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day billing for NETSPECTRUM customers.


Core Responsibilities:


  • Setup billing accounts for new customers
  • Manage account balances and work to resolve any outstanding debts or other inconsistencies
  • Follow up with customers regarding payment issues and issue final notice statements for past due accounts
  • Process customer payments to their account
  • Provide friendly and timely responses to customer inquiries/concerns via ticket system and over the phone
  • Process credit requests that have been approved on customer accounts
  • 12+ years in a related customer and/or billing support role
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, and other jobrelated software (Microsoft Dynamics considered an asset)
  • Ability and desire to learn and understand new software and technical concepts quickly.
  • Experience with business processes, software integrations, and macros
  • College education in Business, Finance and/or equivalent workrelated experience
  • Ability to analyze and define problems, calculate figures and amounts, prioritize work flow, multitasking, meet deadlines and remain flexible
  • Demonstrate attention to accuracy on all duties and responsibilities
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with Company and established safety and privacy policies and requirements

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Greater Sudbury, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- accounts receivable: 1 year (preferred)


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
$21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
