- Ensure that all prescriptions are complete and authentic
- Provide final check in a team-based workflow environment and also being involved in the quality assurance team
- Confirm accuracy and completeness of pharmaceutical products prepared for delivery
- Accept verbal prescriptions from prescribing authorities
- Perform the final check of prepared prescriptions
- Working with advanced pharmacy software and automation technologies to enhance patient safety
- Clinical service support and leadership opportunities
- Current registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP)
- Experience working as a Registered Pharmacy Technician strongly preferred
- Knowledge of KROLL Pharmacy systems is a strong asset
- Retail/Community/Long Term Care Pharmacy experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated computer or word processing skills
