WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Position:
Bookkeeping Administrative Assistant


Location:
Edmonton and Area


Job Type:
Full Time 12-month contract position (Maternity Leave Coverage) with the possibility of extension


Responsibilities:


  • Manage and organize all daily recordkeeping including general data entry, expenses, and credit card tracking
  • Performing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions including balancing cash and posting sales invoices
  • Research account transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Accurately posting transactions utilizing proprietary data system
  • Managing permit submissions as per project and municipality requirements
  • Tendering invitations to Subcontractors to bid on commercial and residential projects, including following up with Trades for quotes in a timely manner
  • Drafting Subtrade Contracts to Subcontractors and following up for executed Contracts in a timely manner
  • Accurate and timely submission of client invoices
  • Accurate and timely submission of all payroll hours
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:


  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Minimum two years' administrative experience in an office setting preferably within the construction industry
  • Experience with Bookkeeping, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable would be considered an asset
  • Strong computer, recordkeeping and organizational skills including intermediate MS Word and Excel knowledge is required
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Enjoys working in a fastpaced environment
  • Enjoys being part of a team

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract


Salary:
$45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
