The principal function of this role is to support the Investor Relations team in the management support and enhancement of institutional investor relationships.
This is achieved by the organization of meetings (including some attendance), production of investor focused updates for broad external distribution, and punctual, accurate and informative responses to inbound requests.
This position will be a hybrid work arrangement.- Strong interest in private markets strategies and broad capital markets.
- Comfortable in a financial environment, working with and talking about fund performance.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Highly motivated, organized and detail oriented.
What you will do:
- Assist IR team in developing plans for existing clients, prospective investors, and investment consultants to deliver HarbourVest investment capabilities.
- Work with IR team to better understand target institutions and investor trends.
- Maintain and update data in SalesForce to ensure accurate contact information and link investors to consultants as appropriate.
- Work with SalesForce manager to optimize reporting, monitor finalist activity and develop front sheets profiling key institutions
- Coordinate and create presentation materials for investor engagements
- And other responsibilities as required
What you bring:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage projects independently.
- Highly motivated, organized and detail oriented.
- Selfstarter, able to work under pressure and can flourish in a fastpaced, high
- Commitment to quality work product and prompt attention to detail.
- Experience with RFPs, and communications to institutional investors ideal.
- Strong project and time management skills.
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A)
- 35 years' experience in finance
