Key Responsibilities:


  • Supporting exhibition and sponsorship fulfillment including assisting with registration, logistics, prepping attendees before, during and after the event;
  • Managing conference attendee registration process, including speakers and other VIP attendees;
  • Assisting with setup and implementation of conference app for all event attendees, including documenting guidance and instructions;
  • Assisting with meeting and conference operations and logistics such as planning, onsite setup, and post event wrap up;
  • Assisting with evaluating hotel proposals and coordinating with hotels/meeting locationsacross North America;
  • Arranging corporate group dinners and receptions;
  • Assisting in gathering and consolidating postevent feedback from attendees and staff, and documenting best practices;
  • Travel to the US is required 34 times a year;

Qualifications & Experience:


  • 3+ years of experience in event planning, including direct experience with event operations;
  • Highly organized and detailoriented;
  • Ability to work in a clientfacing environment;
  • University degree is an asset;
  • Positive attitude, outgoing, professional, and sense of responsibility;
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and problem solve efficiently;
  • Excellent written and spoken English is required, working knowledge of French is an asset;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams
  • Proficiency with MS-Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • Experience with MS Teams, HubSpot, ClickUp, and other workplace softwares is an asset;
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign is an asset
  • Experience with Webflow and/or other basic website design platforms is an asset;
