Job Summary:


Responsibilities:


  • Welcome and warmly greet guests, establishing an inviting and enthusiastic atmosphere.
  • Conduct compelling tours, infusing them with theatricality and creativity.
  • Adapt experiences and delivery to suit the interests and needs of each group, ensuring a personalized and unforgettable experience.
  • Respond to guest questions with accurate and detailed information about the organization, its offerings, and related events or activities.
  • Assist in managing crowds, ensuring the safety and comfort of all guests during busy periods or highdemand experiences.
  • Proactively address guest needs, promptly and professionally resolving any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with the creative and operations teams to maintain a visually appealing, organized, and inviting environment for visitors.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to further develop your storytelling, customer service, and interactive performance skills.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding guest interactions, safety protocols, and confidentiality.

Qualifications:


  • Education or demonstrated experience in performing arts, theatre, drama, or related field is preferred.
  • Genuine passion for the arts, culture, history, or immersive experiences, with a natural inclination to share knowledge with others.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to captivate and engage audiences of various ages, backgrounds, and interests.
  • Strong stage presence, public speaking, and presentation skills, bringing energy, creativity, and a unique performance element to the tours.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks and leading multiple groups simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the needs of the business.
  • First Aid and CPR certifications are a plus, though not required.

Working Conditions:


  • Must be able to stand for long periods.

Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
