We are currently seeking a Technical Lead to join our team in Toronto, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).

Mandatory Skills

The Person must have the following skills.
Strong experience in Core & Advanced Java / Jee(EJB, Spring, struts, Hibernate, Web Services, JMS, RMI, JNDI)
Good knowledge on web flow, XSL, JQuery, XML Parsing, XPath
HTML, JSP, SOAPUI and Servlets
MVC Frameworks
Persistence Mechanisms, Oracle & SQL DB operations and Stored Procedures
Junit & IntelliJ
Build Tools, deployment in WebSphere & it's configuration
OOAD concepts and design implementation
UML Understanding and Usage of tools
IDE
JSON
Providing implementation design for middleware services.
Defining Standards, approach and best practices for Middleware Service.
Taking development decisions for middleware Services.
Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
Understanding of Agile methodologies
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Good understanding of distributed & multitenant systems.
Indepth knowledge of design issues and best practices.
Solid understanding of objectoriented programming
Mentoring junior team members and helping senior team members and architects in design decisions.
Enhancing knowledge base for Software Factory team members and updating knowledge pool on internal WIKI site.
Actively participate in environment readiness and supporting System / UAT/ OAT / PEN testing phases.
Working knowledge on Mobile platform

Job Description:

Develops statements of problems and requirements, designs systems and programs, and writes programs in computer language for solution by means of data processing equipment.
Prepares flow charts and systems diagrams to assist in problem analysis.
Responsible for preparing design documentation.
Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents software according to Dell's systems standards, policies and, procedures, security and compliance requirements.
Prepares test data for unit, string and parallel testing.
Analyzes business needs and creates defines software solutions including custom developed and off the shelf software.
Evaluates and recommends software and hardware solutions to meet user needs.
Resolves customer issues with software solutions and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
Expanding knowledge of related disciplinary areas.
Broad knowledge within own specialty discipline.
Works with mínimal direction.
Work is guided by operational and project objectives.
Expert in one or more areas and guides others.
Sub system ownership.
810 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
