Description

The Department of Social Development is seeking an individual to join the Housing and Homelessness unit as a Provincial Program Consultant in its Central Office.

The position is based in Fredericton; however, a telework option from various locations across the province will be considered.

The incumbent will also be expected to maintain a provincial perspective on issues related to the housing and homelessness sector, and be aware of services and research developments in other jurisdictions.

Other duties may be assigned as required.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's degree in a related discipline with at least three (3) years related experience, OR a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with at least five (5) years related experience.

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.

Knowledge of financial statement analysis, market analysis, appraisal and property management
Knowledge of real estate development stages and processes
Highly developed communication and negotiation skills
Knowledge of the housing industry market trends, housing price trends, interest rates, etc.

Salary:
$61,204 to $85,514 per annum.
