Reporting to the Claims Senior Manager, the Automobile Claims Team Manager leads and oversees the activities of claims professionals supporting our high-net-worth clients, to ensure they provide a legendary customer and employee experience.
- Lead a team of claims advisors that support our high-net-worth clients and internal executives
- Coach and develop employees by providing ongoing feedback and performance reviews
- Communicate productivity objectives to claims advisors and contribute to the achievement of business objectives by meeting or exceeding individual and team goals
- Performance management
- Establish and foster a cohesive team; promote a fair and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforce and encourage the team to achieve common goals and objectives
- Manage client escalations
- Risk Management
- Ensure accurate and timely reserving of claims
- Approve payments and audit claims advisor's files
- Ensure necessary due diligence to support the accuracy of all insurance claims
- Proactively work collaboratively with internal and external partners to ensure a legendary customer experience in all interactions
- During peak season, the Team Manager may be required to directly assist in claims handling
Job Requirements
- 5+ years relevant experience (preferably in both leadership & claims adjusting)
- Bilingualism (Eng./Fre)
- AMF claims adjusting license
