True North Sports + Entertainment is looking for friendly, positive, and enthusiastic Guest Experience members to join our team


The Guest Experience Team *(Ushers/Hosts, Mobile Ticket scanners, and Ambassadors) perform a wide range of essential roles to ensure the delivery of a superior, safe, and engaging guest experience at Canada Life Centre.


What to be excited for in this role:

  • Welcome every guest during arrival with an energetic smile and seek opportunities to proactively offer assistance for queuing, mobile ticketing, security search protocols, and promotional giveaways.
  • Provide informed responses, directional assistance, and general information for seating, venue amenities, and activations/promotions.
  • Accommodate the event needs for guests that require accessible resources and assistance throughout the venue.
  • Take pride in all assigned areas and ensuring excellent and safe venue presentation through continuous monitoring and attentiveness.
  • Immediately prioritize and resolve guest concerns by utilizing the internal text assist program, radios, or direct conversations with Supervisors.
  • Proactively identify and address guest code of conduct issues to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
  • Communicate and collaborate positively with all venue team members to elevate the service experience wherever possible.
  • As guests leave the event, provide directional assistance, a parting remark, smile, and enthusiastically distribute handouts as required.
  • Complete all postevent administration such as venue presentation checks, incident reports, work orders, and sharing feedback with Supervisors.

What we need from you:

  • Always being friendly, positive, and enthusiastic with every guest and venue team member.
  • Comfortable working with large crowds in a loud, fun, and dynamic environment.
  • Ensure the layout, amenities, policies, and procedures for Canada Life Centre are memorized.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Previous guest service and hospitality experience is considered an asset.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Complete Smart Choices (formerly Serving it Safe) course as outlined by Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Authority of Manitoba (LGCA).


Must be able to commit to working a minimum of 60% of events at Canada Life Centre, including evenings and weekends.
