Summary

  • DBRS Morningstar is seeking a Senior Associate in Sales & Marketing to manage client relationships, address client inquiries, and be responsible for pipeline administration for our Global Data Products business. Success in the role will be measured by the volume of engagements maintained and the retention of our existing customer base.


The business development team offers excellent opportunities for growth and supports promoting team members who are ready to pursue roles within other areas of the company.


Responsibilities:


  • Reporting to the Vice President, Sales & Marketing, the Senior Associate will support the Data Products Business Development team members and service client demands with creative problem solving and the swift execution of a variety of administrative tasks.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with contract negotiations and renewals
  • Provide bestinclass client servicing by actively participating in client calls and monitoring client inquiries, completing requests in real time.
  • Work alongside colleagues within the broader Morningstar organization to take a holistic approach to managing customer relationships.

  • Work closely with Finance to initiate invoices and track projected monthly billings for internal financial reporting.
  • Configure and maintain records on clients within the Salesforce CRM system including inputting data, tracking pipelines, fees and creating reports for internal executives.
  • Product Management_
  • Act as a market touch point for internal product teams to provide feedback on existing solutions and participate in product roadmap development.
  • Manage client support inquiries and liaise with Global Technology team members as may be needed to resolve customer issues.
  • Qualifications 2 or more years of relevant experience managing a Sales Pipeline 2 or more years of relevant experience related to Sales or Relationship Management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and an eagerness to excel and be part of a dynamic team
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related fieldNice to Have 2 or more years of relevant experience in the financial services industry
  • Knowledge of contract administration and drafting agreements
  • Keen interest in market dynamics and key players within fixed income markets worldwide
  • Proficiency in additional language(s) (ex. French, German, Italian, Spanish)About Us
