Volkswagen Downtown has an exciting Sales Manager opportunity

Job Purpose

The Sales Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager in planning, organizing and controlling the activities of the New-Vehicle Sales Department and in measuring the performance of the employees in the department.

Core Accountabilities

Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.
Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the New Vehicle Sales department.
Assist the General Manager in forecasting controllable expense elements for the New Vehicle department.
Hire, train, motivate, coach, and monitor the performance of all New-Vehicle Sales Consultant's.
Direct and schedule the activities of all department employees.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of previous management experience in the automotive industry
Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence
Clear Driver's Abstract
Valid OMVIC registration
Strong business acumen
Professional appearance
Proficient with 180, CDK and Reynolds systems; ability to operate PCbased software
Ability to sell the minimum quota according to dealership objective
