Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Validate agent licensing and appointment for business submitted
Follow up on account transfer requests
Record account updates in agency management system
Process various policy service requests
Provide timely and effective customer service;
Provide instruction to financial advisors/agents on completing documents
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of:

Investment and/or insurance industry operations.
Concepts, practices and procedures of investment and/or insurance compliance, including suitability
Principles, practices, and procedures of general office concepts and customer service.

Skills in:

Identifying the needs of customers (Advisors) through effective questionning and listening techniques.
Communicating detailed policy information and/or requirements between financial advisors and their support staff, interdepartment staff, and insurance carriers.

Ability to:

Provide a high level of customer service in a courteous and professional manner.
Organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines.
Use appropriate oral and written communicate skills to communicate effectively with Financial Advisors, Associates, and external vendors.
Effectively gather all relevant information in order to analyze, research, and resolve business issues in order to make decisions.
Problem solving sufficient to effectively analyze, research and resolve inquiries and issues in a timely manner.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three (3) years' experience in financial services industry, preferably inlcuding related service experience.

Licenses/Certifications:

Life, Health and Variable Annuities License is helpful but not required;
Canadian Securities Course an asset.
