About the Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated Construction Project Coordinator to join our expanding team.


Core responsibilities include:

Project Planning and Scheduling:


  • Assist in developing project schedules, timelines, and milestones.
  • Maintain and update project schedules as necessary.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues.

Documentation and Reporting:


  • Create and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and organized project records.

Communication and Coordination:


  • Act as a liaison between project managers, contractors, suppliers, and other team members.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and ensure effective communication among project stakeholders.
  • Address and resolve issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
  • Scope of operations.

Budget Monitoring:


  • Assist in monitoring project budgets and expenses.
  • Track costs and expenditures, and report any budget variations.
  • Help in the preparation of cost estimates and budget forecasts.

Quality Control and Compliance:


  • Ensure that construction work complies with relevant codes, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Perform quality control inspections and document any deficiencies.
  • Assist in implementing quality improvement measures.

Resource Management:


  • Coordinate the allocation of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Monitor resource availability and address resourcerelated issues.

Safety and Risk Management:


  • Promote and enforce safety protocols on the construction site.
  • Identify potential risks and work with the project team to develop mitigation strategies.

Procurement and Supply Chain:


  • Assist in procurement activities, including obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts, and tracking deliveries.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to the construction site.

Other related duties.

Requirements:


  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Self-starter and organizer.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in English.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products.
6. 5+ years of construction experience is an asset.


  • Must have a valid driver's licence.
  • Bachelor's degree or certificate in project management or construction or related field of study is an asset.

Salary:
$50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Experience:

- construction project management: 5 years (preferred)
