We're looking for you to join our Cyber Security team as a
Data-Loss Prevention Analyst in
Toronto, ON
Our Data-Loss Monitoring team is an integral part of our Bank.

They're directly responsible for the ongoing assessments of events that involve the loss or exposure of our informational assets, conducting investigations into security events, identifying threats, and mal-intent towards our Bank by detecting cyber intrusion.

As an Analyst, you will be joining our Cyber Security Operations Centre (CSOC) to escalate incidents of data loss or exposure.

You'll also recommend strategic security solutions and security control improvements that specifically enhance the identification of data security events.

Some more of what you'll be doing includes:

Produce reports, root cause analysis, and security tuning recommendations from your discoveries
Respond to suspicious activity found from monitoring user activity and other threats to our organization
Facilitate our Bank's global security monitoring and threat intelligence programs
Work on a variety of projects related to data security and cyber threat protection

REQUIREMENTS:

Self-Identify as First Nations, Metis, or Inuit
Strong oral/written communication skills
Willing to receive comprehensive training to learn and develop new or existing skills
Eager to learn various networking cyber security concepts and investigative procedures
Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
Able to conduct investigations across multiple security technologies and Scotiabank local/international teams
Able to work individually or within a team
