Job Description:
This position is responsible for the design of the technical architecture solution that may span multiple platforms and include integration and authentication across systems.
The incumbent drives the development platform and provides leadership to other development staff to support the integration of systems leading to the sharing of information across all business units.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum three (3) year Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent;
- Certified Azure Developer Associate or Certified Azure Administrator Associate is required;
- Certified ScrumMaster is required;
- Minimum eight (8) years experience as follows:
- Previous experience in technical leadership, leading project teams, and setting technical direction-
- Experience using technologies and frameworks like (but not limited to).NET Framework, SQL Server, JavaScript, Azure PowerShell, Azure DevOps (CI/CD), and authentication protocols-
- Experience managing cloud architecture and services using a leading cloud provider such as Microsoft Azure-
- Gathering and analysing business requirements to develop technical specifications, integrations and solutions-
- Proposing design and integration solutions for complex business requirements-
- Experience building resilient, scalable services, and have an appreciation for concepts like SLA, and fault tolerance-
- Development of API, Web Services, Service Bus/Layer developmentAddressing issues and defects identified by testers and clients-
- Object-oriented software design and implementation-
- Agile software development (SCRUM)-
- Participation in knowledge sharing and providing mentorship-
- Understanding of best practices and design trade-offs, with the ability to communicate design choices-
- Strong verbal and writing skills to develop and document business requirements and technical documentation.
