Position
Warehouse Associate - Edmonton, AB


Key Responsibilities


The Warehouse Associate is a self-motivated individual who will perform an array of duties including: order picking, shipping and receiving outgoing orders and incoming materials, and product assembly.


Your Role

  • Pick and prepare orders for shipment following Company procedures.
  • Receive & replenishing incoming shipments using appropriate tools, including: forklift and pallet jack.
  • Loading incoming vehicles with various product sizes and complexity
  • Label and stockpile merchandise according to size, shape, and type.
  • Record and manage any damaged merchandise items.
  • Box, wrap, and pack merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards.
  • Prepare all orders for shipment, while maintaining quality control standards.
  • Operate hand tools, such as: tape measure, torch, saw, drill, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Forklift Operation Certification will be considered an asset.
  • Previous working experience as a Warehouse Associate is preferred.
  • Basic carpentry skills an asset.
  • Great physical stamina, manual dexterity and physically fit capable of lifting and carrying 50lbs/20kg.
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Simple math and calculating is required.
  • Problem solver.
