    Overview

    The Supply and Demand Planner provides analytics, support, and inputs to the demand and supply plan in support across all Redpath regions. He/she will support the execution of supply chain strategies and policies and critical duties for mid/long-term planning. The individual will own project/task management of action items related to Supply Planning within the S&OP Process. He/she will support KPI's and scorecard metrics.

    Detailed Roles & Responsibilities

    1. Utilize SAP IBP, Excel, and other systems/processes to gather and analyze sales data, production performance, and conduct capacity analysis
    2. Support and/or execute planning responsibilities for their corresponding categories to deliver Service, Cost, and Inventory targets
    3. Support the development of an executive summary and KPI's in the S&OP process
    4. Support the development of 13-week supply and 18-month supply/demand plans. Periodically provide pallet projections/space requirements to the distribution team
    5. Execute monthly Demand cycle: IBP SAP template analysis, 1:1 meetings with Sales, Demand call leadership, and ongoing adjustments in the forecast
    6. Collaborate with Sales to gather customer information in order to drive forecast improvements and meet targets. Foster robust relationships with the Sales team through 1 on 1 meetings
    7. Own action items resulting from the S&OP cycle
    8. Support root-cause analysis for demand/supply performance gaps
    9. Conduct analysis and provide recommendations for Supply Chain cost-reduction/continuous improvement
    10. Master data support for production planning such as:
      (1) New finished good request through MDG
      (2) Coordination of activities related to data cleanup/correction
    11. Support deployment across regions or members as needed
    12. Support efforts to manage slow-moving and excess inventories and take appropriate corrective actions
    13. Backup members of the Planning Team as needed
    14. Drive continuous process improvement

    Work Experiences

    3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning
    SAP experience a plus
    Microsoft Office including Excel, Word

    Education Requirements

    Bachelor's degree required

    Supervisory Responsibility

    No supervisory responsibilities
