Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Reviews and codes payables invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.
  • Maintains and updates vendor files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.
  • Researches discrepancies and pastdue amounts with the assistance of shared services and other staff.
  • Investigates OPE (OutofPocket Expenses) and collaborates with audit staff as needed to ensure timely expense submission.
  • Maintain A/P records to ensure aging is up to date, payments have been applied, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.
  • Prepare analyses relevant to A/P so management can gain a better understanding of how invoicing efforts are progressing.
  • Support other accounting and finance team members, as well as operations counterparts.

Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • Technically adept with intermediate skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word); experience with ERP systems is preferred (D365,) or other Microsoftbased systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies and work with a high degree of accuracy with mínimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changes in the work environment.
  • Ability to follow and understand processes and controls.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with internal and external audiences
