Full-Time, Contract (4 months)

Regina, SK


CNIB invites you to build a career as unique as you We are currently searching for a
Program Coordinator Reporting to the Provincial Director, the Program Coordinator will work to empower and support a team of volunteers to deliver programs and services that change the lives of individuals who are blind or partially sighted.

Specifically the Program Coordinator will be responsible for implementation of the Tandem Bike Program in Regina, by recruiting and training volunteers, recruiting participants, and ensuring the program meets all targets and goals.


Your impact at CNIB:


  • Assist with planning and implementation of funded program.
  • Conduct Volunteer and Participant outreach.
  • Data entry of client information.
  • Scheduling of program participants and volunteers.
  • Coordination of logistics for program success.
  • Driving a vehicle with trailer to designated bike paths during program times.

Requirements:


Who you are:


  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to manage priorities.
  • Customer service experience an asset.

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Class 5 driver's license.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Grade 12 preferred.
  • Experience working in an office environment.
  • Experience in running programs.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Experience scheduling and implementing programs.
  • Experience transporting and maneuvering a trailer.
  • Personal or professional experience relating to blindness and sight loss is considered an asset.
  • Personal or professional experience working with assistive technology and/or accessible environments is considered an asset.

Work Environment:


  • Office environment.
  • Ability to load and unload tandem bikes from a trailer.
  • Outdoors in parks around Regina.
