The Assisted Living Server position is responsible for taking customer orders, serving and plating food in an Assisted Living Environment.

Some food preparation and food assembly may also be required in this position. Essential

Responsibilities:

Provide the highest quality of service in a dining room setting.
Responsible for monitoring resident(s) during meal service in dining room.
Greet residents and take orders as prescribed by their individual diet plan.
Serves orders in a timely manner.
Responsible for washing and storing dishes.
Continuously check on the needs of guests in entire dining room.
Respond in a proactive nature to guest complaints.
Be knowledgeable of all menu items and their status for the day.
Assist in daily preparation and storage of desserts.
Maintain dining room and kitchen areas in a clean condition by practicing "Clean as you go".
Bus own tables and help others when necessary.
Complete all closing side work assigned and set up for the next shift per supervisor's instructions.
Practice sanitation standards making sure to wash hands frequently as required.
Clean and sanitize work stations and equipment.
Practice safety standards at all times.
Wear proper uniform at all times as specified in associate handbook.
Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit's success also may be assigned.
