We are seeking a full-time, permanent
AR/AP Specialist to join our team at our head office in
Guelph, ON Not in Guelph, but still interested? This role is being offered as a
hybrid position with working from the office one day per week (Wednesdays).
What it's all about:
As an AR/AP Specialist you will be focused on maintaining our Accounts Recievable and Accounts Payable.
You will work with the finance team to optimize our processes, as well as use excel to analyze and present data and trends.
You have a keen eye for finding efficiencies in optimizing our processes, tracking and billing opportunities to support the business.
This role will support the overall sales and operations of our clinics at HearCANADA.What we offer you:

What you will do:
- Be knowledgeable in best practices for AR/AP processing
- Identify opportunities to optimize processes & billings
- Partner with sales & operations, marketing, and finance teams to meet performance objectives
- Determine potential risks to business and escalate as required to the VP of Finance
- Collaborate with the finance team to establish new age standards of practice
What we are looking for:
- Postsecondary education in a related field
- 35 years of experience in AR/AP processing (hearing industry a strong asset)
- Experience in data processing with Excel is a strong asset
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal/external customer and other stakeholders
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to effectively deliver information to all levels of business (peers, business leaders, suppliers, customers, etc)
- Ability to interpret financial statements, data, and reports
