Air Inuit has been providing essential scheduled, charter, cargo and emergency air transportation services to Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for 45 years.
Owned collectively by the Inuit of Nunavik through the Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of 30 aircraft and employs over 1,000 people in one of the world's most demanding flying environments.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The crew planner works in close proximity with the chief pilots, the chief flight attendant, and technical standards to plan all crew member schedules within the restrictions defined by the Canadian Aviation Regulations and the crew member collective agreement.
The workload of the position is cyclical within the schedule period and requires strong communication skills, strong planning skills, and the ability to respect deadlines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The crew planner is responsible for the following, ensuring that CARS are respected at all times:
- Participation in the Company's Safety Management system
- Producing crew pairings to optimize crew member efficiency.
- Producing all crew schedules to cover planned flights, vacations, and training requirements.
- Assessing the impact of future training, vacations, and leave of absences on staffing requirements.
- Identifying training priorities with the chief pilots/chief flight attendant.
- Publishing crew schedules.
- Informing the Operational Control Manager of the context of each future block.
- Carry out any other tasks necessary and required by the company.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bilingual (French
- English)
- Experience in aviation
- Ability to work within a team
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Able to handle stress
- Able to respect deadlines
COMPENSATION
- Compensation and benefits are determined in accordance with corporate policy;
- Annual salary starts at $46,874.
