Availability Mon - Friday 10am-5pm


Responsibilities:


  • Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Take customer orders and provide recommendations on menu items
  • Serve food and beverages to customers promptly and accurately
  • Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area and workstations
  • Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of food
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks

Qualifications:

  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
  • Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Excellent problemsolving skills to address customer concerns or issues
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is a plus

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent


Salary:
$16.55-$17.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • On call
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON M5G 2H1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- serving: 1 year (preferred)


Language:


  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Smart Serve (preferred)
  • ProServe (preferred)
