Job Summary:

Animal Cage Wash Operator - $1,000 Bonus

Job Summary
We are looking for an animal cage wash operator to join our Toxicology team located in Senneville (QC). You will be responsible for the well-being of our laboratory animals by keeping their environment clean. Your contribution will ensure the health of our animals, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

In this role, key responsibilities may include:

Operate and perform daily checks on cage washer machines;
Monitor the use of soaps and various needs of the cage washers;
Clean all types of animal housing and accessories;
Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on cages and accessories.

Job Qualifications
If you possess the following qualifications, we will train you in the rest:

Be able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg)
Be a team player,
Have a good understanding of written English.

Role Specific Information:

Schedule:

11 hours shift (7am to 6:30pm)
Alternating 4 days on, 3 days off, 3 days on, 4 days off.

Salary:

Basic: $16,25 / hour;
Weekend prime : 2.75$;
Evening prime : 2.50$;
After 37,5 h : Paid at time and a half;
Holiday: Paid at double time;
Sign-On Bonus of 1,000$ after 6 months.

Transportation:

Shuttle service from the Sainte-Annede Bellevue train station and from John Abbott College to the Senneville site.
