Summary

The Dock Lead is the central point of contact between the Warehouse Team and the Transport Team.

The position develops and maintains detailed operational planning which includes administrative, implementation, and follow up tasks for Sky Café bases.

Works with the team to understand and assist with tracking all work, task, and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure 5S Standards (Housekeeping) are maintained (Build / Staging / Departure Docks)
  • Up to Date on all required Training / Bulletins / Notices
  • Attend Huddle Meetings with Builder/ Inventory Leads /CA2s(Drivers)
  • Update Daily Build Record (DBR) to reflect any AirCraft / Service Level Changes
  • Assign DBR to CA1s
  • Ensure all Soiled Equipment is cleaned to Sky Cafe Standards
  • Ensure all Flight Builds are Built to Spec
  • Ensure all Bulk items are staged and built to Spec
  • Record Security Seals on Security Declaration Forms, as required
  • Ensure Required Security Declaration Forms are completed as required (One copy on AC, One copy kept of file)
  • Assist CA2s with offload / onloading flights to Catering Vehicle
  • Freezer / Cooler Temperature Logs are recorded twice a day
  • Record / Advise Dispatch of Dispatch Temperature / Times for all Food related items
  • Record and Inform Dispatch of CA2 Dock Departure Times
  • Assist CA1s with building, as needed
  • Inform Build / Inventory Leads of any required supplies, as needed
  • All required Paperwork is submitted at the end of each shift to Build Lead / OPS Supervisor
  • Perform Duties of CA1, as needed
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements:


  • MS Office, experience is preferred
  • Word, Excel, Outlook experience is essential
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Posses a valid Canadian driver's license
  • Ability to work on a permanent basis in Canada
  • Obtain a clear criminal record
  • Must obtain necessary airport and/or Transport Canada security clearances
  • Must obtain necessary airport vehicle operator permit
  • Must be capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 70lbs on a regular basis
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and varying schedule and be available on call as required
  • Must successfully complete airline and corporate specific training programs and recertification
