Job DescriptionLight Duty Cleaner Position available in Guelph. Evening Light Duty cleaning for 3 nights per week, Tues, Wed., and Friday. 4-5 hours per night to start. Hours could possibly increase in the future. Drivers license required. Start time varies depending on the schedule so some flexibility is required but usually between 3:00 and 5:00pm.

You will leave our Guelph office with a partner, in a company vehicle and do a scheduled route.

Rate of pay is $16.50 to start (with a drivers license) increasing to $17.00 after 3 months. Only serious applicants need apply.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe following is a list of the essential duties and responsibilities of this job. The tasks and the time spent performing each task may vary as business needs require. ServiceMaster Clean maintains the right to modify job duties and responsibilities at its discretion.

General dusting, vacuuming, mopping
Cleaning of washrooms, refilling dispensers
Emptying garbage and recycling
Wet cleaning horizontal surfaces
Spot Cleaning of walls and glass
Sanitizing touchpoints
Additional tasks as requested
Establish positive rapport with clients when possible
Provide an exceptional level of service that exceeds the expectation of the client
Conduct all work in accordance with company safety and other workplace policies

QUALIFICATIONS

Communicate in English both written and verbally
Strong attention to detail
Be physically capable of lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks
Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a variety of settings
Works well independently and in a team environment
Be able to work consistent weekend shifts
A vehicle to commute to work locations
Have a criminal record check
Previous cleaning experience in a commercial setting is beneficial

WORKING CONDITIONSThere is a low risk of exposure to adverse working conditions. However, at this time with the COVID 19 Pandemic extra cleaning precautions are taken and required.
