The Ministry of Health has overall responsibility for ensuring that quality, appropriate, cost-effective, and timely health services are available to all British Columbians.

The Health Sector Information, Analysis and Reporting division (HSIAR) sets the foundation for the delivery of high-quality health sector information, analytics and reporting.

The Division leads key information management functions including data stewardship, governance, security, access analytics and reporting, quality assurance, performance measurement and evaluations functions.


The Branch Operations Administrator is the central contact for coordinating all branch administration, human resources, assets and facility tasks for the branch and coordinates the day to day priorities of the Executive Director and Directors.


Job Requirements:


Education and Experience:


  • Secondary school graduation (Grade 12) or equivalent (GED) plus a minimum of 18 months administrative experience in a professional environment. Preference may be given to applicants with post secondary courses or training courses in office administration.
  • Experience managing executive calendars, scheduling meetings and booking travel arrangements
  • Experience managing deadlines and prioritizing multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Experience working effectively and professionally with mínimal supervision and maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Experience in records management using electronic systems and physical file management, including preparing, managing, assigning and retrieving documents.

Preference may be given to applicants with:

  • Experience providing confidential administrative services to senior level BC Government executives.
  • Experience managing an electronic calendar (booking meetings and appointments) for executive/ management.
  • Experience with ARCS/ORCS.
  • Experience with eApprovals/CLIFF.
  • Experience with project management administration

Proviso:


  • Willing and able to lift or move heavy objects (monitors) and/or record boxes (ranges from 25 to 50 lbs).

About this Position:

This position has full time on-site requirements.
