    We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team:

    The Faculty of Business at Durham College seeks a full-time professor to teach in the accounting programs, specializing in:

    • Managerial Accounting
    • Managerial Accounting 2
    • Taxation I
    • Business Finance 1

    Candidates should be available to teach Monday to Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

    The starting salary for full-time professors ranges from $73,079 to $126,689 per year, based on qualifications and experience.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Creating an inclusive learning environment for students with diverse backgrounds and learning styles
    • Engaging students through adult education principles
    • Utilizing educational technologies effectively
    • Developing relevant curriculum and assessments
    • Working collaboratively with students, colleagues, and stakeholders

    The ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications:
    • Master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent. PhD is a plus
    • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
    • Minimum of five years of accounting experience
    • Prior teaching experience at the post-secondary level
    • Experience with Universal Design for Learning and assessment methods
    • Engagement in applied research is beneficial
    • Proficiency in educational technologies and continuous learning
    • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
    • Familiarity with the Ontario college system

    Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
