The Opportunity

Duties and Responsibilities

HR Responsibilities

  • Ensuring compliance with documentation requirements throughout the recruitment process.
  • Represent the company at offsite job fairs and networking events to attract top talent and promote our employer brand.
  • Report on talent acquisition statistics and analytics to management on a weekly basis.
  • Collect and enter applicants into the HRIS system.
  • Shortlist applicants using hiring manager criteria along with a variety of selection techniques including psychometric and technical testing.
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Perform preliminary interviews.
  • Assist HR Manager with employee onboarding process.
  • Update electronic personnel files.

Office Operations Responsibilities

  • Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate staff members.
  • Greeting visitors and providing them with necessary information.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Performing general clerical duties, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
  • Maintain adequate office supply inventory.
  • Manage food and beverages for employees and office visitors as necessary.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3 years work experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • Experience with recruiting platforms including LinkedIn and Indeed.
  • Experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks, background screening etc.).
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other software tools.
  • Techsavvy with the ability to get to grips with new programs and software quickly.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A strong sense of urgency and a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize between several different searches at various stages simultaneously.
  • A diligent approach when maintaining, monitoring, calculating and summarizing data, records, and information.
  • Understanding the importance of confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with FinTech is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite is an asset.

Salary:
$55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
