You are an experienced Project Controls Manager with a minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role and looking to join a thriving business.
Job Description:
Project Role
- Develop, implement, and manage project controls processes, procedures, systems, and tools to enable effective management of schedule, budget, risk, documents, scope, and progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, including quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Analyze project data, identify trends, and make recommendations to improve project performance.
- Manage project and contract scope through appropriate governance and change control management, including reviewing and approving change requests and maintaining change logs.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Provide project status updates to stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and project teams.
- Lead and manage a team of project control professionals, including scheduling, cost engineering, and risk management specialists
Internal Role
In addition to project/commission-based work, the Project Controls Manager will support additional Turner & Townsend initiatives which may include;
- Helping build project controls expertise in the business
- Supporting business development opportunities through client engagement and bid preparation
- People management; line or functional management of team members and support in recruitment and onboarding
- Building capability and capacity in the infrastructure business
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls management, preferably in the infrastructure sector
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
- Experience managing large and complex projects, including multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team of professionals.
