Water Meter Installer - North Vancouver, Canada - Neptune Technology Group
Description
Duties:
- Installation of water meters
- Service work related to water meters
- Installation of transmitters and associated equipment
- Some manual excavations (hand digging) involved.
- 95% of the work takes place outdoors.
- Digital data entry through an Electronic Work Order on a handheld device
- Self management of assigned accounts to completion
- Participation in safe and environmentally sound work behaviours and objectives at all times in support of Health and Safety Policy/Programs and best practices.
- No selling required
Requirements:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle and valid insurance
- Personal tools required
- Familiarity with operation of a smart phone
- WHMIS Certificate is an asset
- First Aid Certificate is an asset
- Criminal background check
Remuneration:
- Pay based on performance (piecework), with flexible hours. $350+ per full working day based on minimum production requirements.
