Under the supervision of the Technical Service Manager, the Technical Records Clerk is responsible for ensuring that all aircraft technical records for both Rise Air and external customers are recorded and maintained in compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and company policies and procedures.

This position assists with quality control and performs clerical/administrative duties.


Responsibilities:


  • Verify, update, and maintain all electronic and hard copy aircraft technical records and maintenancerelated files for regulatory compliance and within the specified time frames, e.g., manual revisions, maintenance database, library, and pink sheet data input, etc.
  • Update and maintain database with the status of all tracked aircraft maintenance items and aircraft actions.
  • Complete general maintenance forecasts, worksinprogress, and aircraft status reports as required.
  • Assist with parts/labour verification and preparation of internal billing invoices.
  • Assist in the auditing process and preparation of various communications and reports for the department, including monthly reports (hours, cycles, monthly maintenance. engine hours), ATR reports and annual airworthiness information reports (AAIR).
  • File incoming aircraft service information and manual revisions.
  • Update aircraft modification databases.
  • Coordinate month end reporting with finance department.
  • Update web engine condition trend monitoring (ECTM) data.
  • Review major repair major modification (MRMM) forms.
  • Provides the maintenance and stores departments with clerical support as required, including sign out for parts for heavy checks.
  • Respond to incoming telephone calls for the maintenance department and handle or direct them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Perform administrative support duties as required.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodation bookings for thirdparty maintenance providers and technical records team.
  • Track vacation and manage the schedule of the technical records team.
  • Foster a teambased environment through collaborative working relationships.
  • Ensure optimal communication with all employees and internal partners.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all Transport Canada rules, regulations and policies.
  • Continuously update job knowledge by participating in training and other educational opportunities.
  • Protect Company values by keeping information confidential.
  • Participate in special projects as required.

Experience:


Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position include a high school diploma with a minimum two years' experience, preferably in inventory control or records management systems.

Completion of a business college diploma or equivalent formal training, previous accounting experience, and familiarity of aviation terminology is an asset.

A combination of education and experience will be considered.
