The West Vancouver Community Services Department has an opening for a Pottery Instructor.

This position will be responsible for:

Guiding, engaging and teaching students of all ages different techniques and styles;

- organizing and preparing different projects or workshops depending on the style of class being taught;
- cleaning of the studio and equipment before and after teaching;
- explaining the registration process and community centres activities;
- responding to questions and raises concerns to the supervisor who refers parents/families to community resources; and,
- other related duties as required.

Position Status:
Non-Union - Casual

Hours of Work:
Hours of work may vary, potentially required to teach evenings and weekends.

Rate of Pay:
$24.00 per hour plus 4% in lieu of benefits, (can vary based on experience and qualifications)
