Carpenter Canada Co. has an immediate opening for a
Shipper on the first shift (06:00-14:00) at our
Calgary manufacturing plant.

This position is responsible for safe, accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders while adhering to the Company's guiding principles and value of order.

Carpenter Canada Co. employees are committed to working hard to ensure production goals are met while maintaining operations excellence.

As the
Shipper, you will be expected to drive a forklift and load products into trailers ensuring that all paperwork is completed correctly.

Your additional responsibilities as
Shipper will include:

Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, occupational health and safety.
Perform preuse forklift inspection to ensure mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order.
Maintain daily logs, inspection logs and other necessary paperwork.
Adheres to all company's policies and procedures.
Physically capable to tie down loads properly.
Other duties as assigned.
Work overtime as required.

Skills and Requirements:

Must be able to operate a forklift to load and unload trailers.
Completion of high school
Valid Forklift Certificate.
3 years experience operating a forklift;

years of shipping experience.

Must have good oral communication skills and be able to work with others
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Possess a positive, professional attitude

Salary:
From $23.48 per hour
