Summary:
Enerflex Ltd is an internationally recognized company with a presence in eight major regions worldwide.
We specialize in Engineering, Designing, Fabricating, and Assembling some of the largest and most advanced equipment for the global energy industry, including natural gas compression, gas processing, electric power generation, and carbon capture.
This position is located at our manufacturing facility in Southeast Calgary.Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
- Adhere to all shop safety and job-specific safety protocols.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&ID drawings and project-specific specifications.
- Follow company work instructions to ensure the successful completion of assigned tasks.
- Skilled in the use of hydraulic torque wrenches (Hytorc).
- Willingness to provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices when necessary (Journeyman).
- Ability to provide own basic hand tools.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Alberta Journeyman Pipefitting Certificate; possessing an Interprovincial red seal endorsement is advantageous.
- Registered as a 3rd or 4th-year Apprentice Pipefitter with an active Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) Apprentice status.
- Possess current certification in some or all of the following areas, which is considered beneficial: WHMIS, Fall Protection (FP), Aerial Work Platform (AWP), Overhead Crane Training, and 1st Aid.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, dependable, and a proven track record of attendance.
